Replacement Liners for JMC Environmentalist's Sub-Soil Probe's 36 inch Sampling Tubes*
We sell liners in "sets". Each set contains:
15 PETG Colpolyester 36 inch plastic liners (0.8 inch diameter sample)
15 Red vinyl caps
15 Black vinyl caps
To save you money, sets of liners can be purchased in bulk. (See pricing table above).
Please Note: We sell only new, uncontaminated plastic liners. For this reason, we do not accept returns for this product. Please be certain you are ordering the correct size. If you have any doubts about what you need, please call us. We will be happy to assist you!
*These liners will also fit the JMC Environmentalist's Sub-Soil Probe's 48 inch Sampling Tube, but you will need to insert a PN231 12 inch Spacer on top of the liner to fill the empty space.
The ESP pulls a 3 (or 4) foot long by 0.8 inch diameter sample in one plunge. It captures every sample in a plastic (or stainless steel) liner and can sample to 3 (or 4) feet (30 feet with extensions). Sampling tube is driven by a 12.5 pound drop-hammer (or electric hammer) and retrieved with a foot-operated jack.
This extension lets you sample 3 feet deeper than the length of your sampling tube. (6 feet with a 3 foot tube) If you want to sample deeper than that you will need to purchase one or more JMC ESP Regular Extensions in addition to this extension.
This extension lets you sample three feet deeper provided you have a ESP Sampling Tube and a JMC ESP Master Extension. Regular extensions connect to each other for additional sampling depth capability.
Already have a Bosch 11316 Percussion Hammer, 11245 Rotary Hammer, or Bosch RH1255VC Rotary Hammer? Then all you need is this adapter for your JMC Environmentalist's Sub-Soil Probe.

Replacement part. Sandwiched between lower end of sampling tube and cutting tip. Directs flow of soil into the liner. Without it, clay samples have a tendency to crumple the plastic liners.
