Assembly fits manual sliding hammer for the JMC Environmentalist's Sub-Soil Probe (0.8 inch diameter sampler). This is the part that rests on the top of the sampling tube that fits up inside the heavy sleeve of the hammer.
Includes the following parts screwed together and held firm with Loctite® thread locking compound:
Threads together in any combination with our 13 and 26 inch Rod Extensions (The picture shows both). Compatible with Backsaver, "T", and Conventional Handles. Also fits most JMC Sampling Tubes.
The ESP pulls a 3 (or 4) foot long by 0.8 inch diameter sample in one plunge. It captures every sample in a plastic (or stainless steel) liner and can sample to 3 (or 4) feet (30 feet with extensions). Sampling tube is driven by a 12.5 pound drop-hammer (or electric hammer) and retrieved with a foot-operated jack.
The heavy (12 pounds) metal sleeve that moves up and down while pounding the sampling tube into the ground. Fits both the JMC Environmentalist's Sub-Soil Probe and the JMC Environmentalist's Sub-Soil Probe PLUS.
