JMC Sampling Tubes
We offer a variety of soil sampling tubes. Each tube features a self-sharpening tip that cuts great looking cores and outlasts common replaceable tips eight to one.
We have 3 kinds of tubes that take samples less than an inch in diameter:
- Wet Sampling Tubes.
- Work best in soft, moist soils. Core diameter is 0.688 inches.
- Dry Sampling Tubes.
- Work best in hard, dry soils. Core diameter is 0.75 inches.

- Same design as the Dry Tubes, but produces a core diameter of only 0.56 inches.
- All tubes feature hardened cutting tips.
- All metal parts nickel-plated to protect against rust and wear.
- Wet and Dry Tubes available in 12, 15, or 18 inch lengths.
- Ag Consultant's Tubes available in 12 and 18 inch lengths.
(Length measurements are overall length. Sample is 3 inches shorter.)

JMC Zero Contamination Tubes
Our JMC Zero Contamination Tube allows you to gather undisturbed soil samples encased in removeable PETG Copolyester liners.
- Tube isolates sample from surrounding soil while being lifted out of the ground.
- Vinyl caps seal sample inside liner during transit to your lab.
- Samples measure 0.8 inches in diameter.
- Tubes available in 12 or 18 inch lengths.
- Extra liners available at bulk discount prices.
- Stainless Steel Liners also available.
- Pull pin included for plow layer sampling.
- Straight pin included for sampling below plow layer.

JMC 2 inch Concentric Sampling Tube
Our JMC Concentric Sampling Tube gathers undisturbed soil samples encased in removeable PETG Copolyester liners. It can also plant a 6 inch long metal casing that protects the sample site from surface debris after the sample is removed.
- Sampling Tube and Metal Casing both enter the ground as a unit.
- Sampling Tube releases from metal casing with a twist of the handgrip.
- Metal Casing remains in ground while sampling tube is retracted
- Deeper sampling can be performed through the center of the metal casing.
- Metal Casing retrieved by reinserting sampling tube and twisting to engage mounting.
- Samples measure 2.0 inches in diameter by 6 inches long.
- Sample encased in PETG Copolyester liners.
- Vinyl caps seal sample inside liner during transit to your lab.
